What WebMCP is
WebMCP is a new browser standard. It lets a website tell an AI assistant what it can do on that site. The assistant then asks the site a clear question and gets a clear answer, instead of guessing from the page layout.
WebMCP is still experimental. Availability depends on the browser and the AI agent a guest uses.
What the Nuno tag lets an assistant do
The Nuno WebMCP tag gives an assistant a set of read-only tools on your own site. An assistant can use them to read facts that your site already states, such as rooms, policies, offers, events and guides.
- Every fact comes with a link to the page it came from and the date Nuno read it.
- A fact that your pages do not state comes back as not stated.
- The tools never book a room, hold a room, quote a price or check availability.
- The tools ask for no guest details and store none.
What you need to do
Add one tag to your site. We set it up with you and your web team. Most sites use WordPress or Google Tag Manager for this step.
Nothing changes on the page for your guests. After the tag is live, we check that the tools load and work. You can turn the tag off at any time by removing it from your site, or by asking us to disable it.
What to expect
The tools answer from your public pages. If a page changes, the answer changes after we read the page again. A guest who wants to book continues on your existing booking platform.
Because WebMCP is new, some browsers and agents do not support it yet. We confirm the current status with you before launch.
